Advanced Internal Affairs Investigation

Prerequisite – Internal Affairs Investigation course and 3 years experience in administrative investigations or in management position involved in employee discipline.

This is the only POST certified Advanced Internal Affairs Investigation course (offered once a year) and is specially developed for experienced Internal Affairs investigators (LE managers are highly encouraged to attend) and is designed to qualify you as an expert witness for testifying in related administrative and criminal hearings. This course is being presented specifically for San Joaquin Valley law enforcement agencies by request.

Course content covers relevant statutes and case law pertaining to “Hot Button” issues and important updates on POBR and IA case law. The course also addresses current misconduct issues (political, UOF, media, etc.) which confront agencies and the instructors will share their “insider” perspectives on these high-profile issues and cases.

Due to limited seating, registration must be paid beforehand to guarantee reservation. You will be invoiced when the registration is received. Any unpaid registration by September 1 will be given to those on the waitlist.
