The POST Perishable Skills Update class is specially designed for agences who need to complete the POST Perishable Skills mandate as well as other State-mandated training.
The first two days of class includes the four perishable skills mandates: Driving, Firearms, Arrest & Control, and Tactical Communications. These first two days are certified as a single module, POST Plan I.
The third day is optional, and consists of State-mandated classes that many agencies have difficulty providing for their members. This third day includes: Racial Profiling Update, Domestic Violence Update, and CPR / First Aid Update (American Red Cross only). Each of these classes are certified individually and can be attended based on the needs of the agency or the officer.
