Fresno Police Department members may request Department-provided training at the Regional Training Center with supervisory approval only, utilizing this form. Final placement in a class may depend upon available space in the class, staffing (when applicable), and the member’s POST 80 hour annual reimbursement cap status. Your supervisor will be contacted by email to confirm authorization.
Fresno Police Department members wishing to enroll in Department-provided training (performed by the Department’s Training Unit and not private outside vendors) at the Regional Training Center should complete all information on this registration form and submit it for processing. Hard copy forms may be sent via intradepartmental mail, faxed to 621-2175, or by email to FPDRTC@fresno.gov.
Once placement in a class is determined, a confirmation will be sent to the member and their supervisor.
Officers assigned to the current Patrol Matrix or subject to minimum staffing may complete a request for any POST Plan I or II with this form. All other requests need to be completed on the Training Request Form and sent through the chain of command to be authorized.
