The Fresno Police Department Regional Training Center (FPDRTC) is a one-of-a-kind criminal justice training facility located in central California. The RTC covers almost 80 acres, and features "smart" classrooms, seven firearms ranges (including a 200 yard rifle range), a 3-story tactical training house, sniper tower, Emergency Vehicle Operations Course, padded mat room, driving and force options simulators, and more.
The facility is primarily intended to be available for all local law enforcement agencies to receive their required training mandates, as well as training that will enhance their knowledge and skills in a variety of assignments and disciplines.
The goals of the RTC staff are:
•To provide the highest quality public safety training;
•Utilize an outstanding training location that is equipped with the latest training aids, maintained in a safe and clean condition; and
•Provide the very best service we can to our customers, the Central California law enforcement community.
